Great Road trip

Wow..........

Just got home from a great road trip with 5 great EESA fellow shooters.
We left Saturday morning from my place at 7 am and pulled into my driveway this evening (Sunday) at 8:36.

Saturday was spent at Napanee Gun club shooting Badboybeeson's IDPA style shotgun match.
Saturday evening we stayed at a riverfront cottage in Prescot and grabbed supper in a small sport's bar. Great food...........and entertaining waitress. Young Diablo was with us which prevented us from venturing across the street to the local gentlemen's establishment ( and how the heck can a small town like that have a stip bar I must ask!).

Today two of us helped R/O the morning squad at GFGC and shot a very fun match. I was very impressed with GFGC's facilities. Heck of a nice place.

A quick stop at DQ on the way home capped off a very nice trip.

It was nice to "get away with the guys" and I look forward to future road trips to Eastern Ontario every year from now on. We have a new tradition that I can only hope wil be getting bigger every year.

Cool. I love road trips. I do an annual trip the US Southwest, leave sometime in October when the rain starts here for the winter.

It certainly was a good time, great company, and a couple of very fun matches.
Was nice to see some familiar faces at both matches, and look forward to another Road Trip in the future.
Working on getting some vids up of the Shot gun match now.

The trip was definitly worth it. It was a good time. Also good to see some of our newer shooters shoot so well.

What happens of the road... Stays on the road...

banger, bersmith and I will be heading to MI this weekend for a double header of 3-gun.
Saturday it's 3-gun combat at Bluewater in Port Huron and then it's off to Brighton for the Livingston Gun Clubs Mi3gun championship on Sunday...

The Mi3gun shoot is gonna be good. Their dark-house is a a hoot and this match there'll be a .50 Ma Duece to shoot on one of the stages

Diablo was PEAKING when we were right across the street from the Ballerina's, but apparently, the Carney's were in town, so it wouldn't have been much of a show anyways, LOL

Thanks to essa crew for helping out ,you guy's were great sports and fun to be around, sorry Diablo about the stage that made you think of school and upset your confidence, won't put a desk and computer stage in next year. Thanks to you all, thinking of doing it Saturday next year so people who travel long way can stay for the meal.
