Two weeks ago today I sent my old Leupold Vari-x II 1-4x20 for a bit of a check up and have one of the lenses replaced that I scratched a while back. Well today about five minutes before walking out the door to go to the gun range there was the mail man at the door with my scope in hand.
Here is what they did:
-Complete internal inspection
-Rework system and selector
-Replaced eyepiece
-Reworked field lense assembly
-Updated adjustments
-Recollimated
-Mechanical inspection
-Refilled and water tested
Now I was more than willing to pay for the lense that I scratched, christ this scope is around 20 years old
. Now it is like a brand new scope and as clear as when it was new. I have dealt with allot of companies in the shooting industry over the years, but not one of them can compare to the sevice that Leupold provides.
I had a lense changed years ago from Bushnell and they charged me to do it. All the work Leupold has ever done for me has been free. I guess it is true, buy quality and buy once.
Bushnell, ya right
