I thought I would just take a minute to tell everyone what great service I got from Canada Ammo!
Last year for Christmas I got a scope from my daughter from Canada Ammo!
The scope was what served my purpose and I liked it! However after six or seven month it went south on me and would no longer hold zero!
Well I contacted Canada Ammo and promptly go a reply from Daniel that they were out of stock on that scope but yes it was under warranty and they would send me a return authorization and a shipping label to send it back. He also told me that I could pick another scope and apply my purchase price to that scope or have a credit towards anything else they sold.
I thought that was very fair but they did not have any other scopes of a similar type that would suit my needs! I conveyed this message to Daniel and explained that I was not in a great rush as I did not use this rifle all that often. He replied that they were getting more of the model of scope I had in, but it would probably be 4-5 weeks before they came in. He also said they would honor the warranty and to just watch their site for the scope I wanted to show up again and send him an email and he would take care of it.
I said fine I can wait, and roughly a month latter I saw the scope show up on the sight, and sent Daniel an email to which he replied a couple of days latter. It seems he was away from the store, but was picking up his emails anyway and promptly arrange for his shipper to send me a return label and instructions to return it all on Canada Ammo's dime!
I sent it back and within 2 days of them receiving it they had processed and shipped me a new scope!
This in itself was good service as far as I am concerned, but It was more complicated than that because It was purchase by my daughter that lived in one city (1800 kms away) and I wanted shipped to my home (in another city)! Again Daniel said no problem and arrange shipping to my door!
All to often on these forums people are ready to complain and whine about the service they get from one of the sponsors, and I am no different when I get bad service, but I also believe that when you get great service it is worth taking a moment to write about that as well!
