Great Winchester books?

Hi I would like to find a book on the complete history and mainly all the variations of all the Winchester rifles. I was just wondering if anyone can direct me into a great book. I am always envious of those who know too much about all the variations.

The Winchester Handbook by George Madis.

He has his critics but it is a solid and comprehensive reference. Others are available but you will find they supplement, rather than replace.

A great book that is, though, just about Model 94's - Sam Fadala's "Winchester's .30-30, The Rifle America Loves"

The MADIS book is still the bible although there are a few errors in it. Arthur Pirkle has a series of smaller books each one covering two models of lever guns that are quite good for details of the different models.
