I would guess around 1968 -1970 when Webley took over making the Greener. They assembled some guns using Greener made actions for a couple of years then started producing their own version the Greener mark 2 when the Greener made actions ran out and produced the GP to the late 1980s.The Greener GP s we’re made in the 1930s to 1968 .This one is one of the ones Webley assembled using the original Greener actions. The Webley made mark 2 version has clips to hold the pins in place where the Greener version has keeper screws and have a differently shaped safety etc.Basically Webley kind of cheapened the action a bit. Also Greener never made one with a case coloured action only Webley did that on some of their GP Martinis

Wow, a very nice example!
- First case colored receiver I've seen. The other ones, the receiver was more of a "plum" color.

Silly question for you: Once cocked, if you take the safety OFF, are you able to push it back ON without opening the action?

In case you ever have the urge to take-it apart, instructions are handy. They have the GP manual scanned (all 4 pages of it)
