Hello everyone. I am a Canadian who has been living in Texas for the last 2 years. I shot allot in Texas. Around 500 - 600 rounds a week. Mostly pistols but some tactical rifle stuff as well. I shot a few IDPA matches and really enjoyed it. I was just starting to attend 3 Gun matches with hopes of competing when I was transferred back to Canada. I had to sell my guns in the US and now I am back in Calgary re-acquiring my toys.
I am ex CF infantry (1PPCLI). I reload most of my own ammo, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, .223, 303 British, 308, 300WM and 338 Lapua. I got away from shooting once I left the CF but picked it back up just over a year ago. Now I really enjoy just getting out to shoot pretty much anything that goes bang. I would say I am an average shot with superior weapons handling manners. Safety first right! I have joined the Calgary Shooting Center and am hoping to get in with a few local shooting clubs to participate in some matches. I have a desire to get very competitive in any tactical related competitions going on in the Calgary area.
I am a member under the same username on quite a few reloading and gun forms in the US. I have browsed this forum a few times and will make this site my new home. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any reloading questions. I will do my best to add some content to the pages here.
