Greetings from a newbie from Quebec City

Hi everyones!

I'm from Quebec City, former Canadian Military Engineer with 17 years or so in service, and I like rifles and guns! I've just started a Military rifle collection, and maybe I'm gonna have some questions for you guys!

What I have for now :

SMLE No.4 Mk.2 1953
Moisin Nagant 91/30 1944
Norinco M305 (copy of the M14)
CZ 858 (my Christmas gift, from me to me!)

What I'm looking for in a near/far future :

Mauser 98K
Upgrading my M14 in a sniper one (scope and bipod, redoing stock)
M1 Garand (yeah, but pricey... :-( )
Maybe a SKS...

Hello and welcome. I'm afraid I know little about rifles. I collect pistols. However, years ago I lived in Idaho and used an SKS for the coyotes (of which there were very, very many). Great little rifle: very accurate; chromed bore; unlosable magazine.

I am mostly into hunting rifles but rest assured that there are many members that are into the military rifles. You will hear from a few of them, I'm sure......;)

Get yourself onto the EE (Exchange of Modern Military and Black Rifles) and start looking around. Lots of fun.....
