Greetings from La Belle Province.

It was my pleasure! My buddy Druker gets a kick outta watching grown men being reduced to whimpering mounds of weeping jelly with those crazy .357 handloads of his. And although I honestly believe he's just trying to compensate for a miniscule pecker, he means well....:D

Yeah, that was my gf. She looks hot too, firing that .357 while wearing her holstered 36D's with pride :D

for the letter it was about 2 weeks similar for the card for me. I have sent in the application paperwork and it will be there a month on june the 8th so yeah I am going crazy a little but you learn to relax cause you cant call them really till about 45 days after. I am still going with a friend when he goes to Ville St Pierre club usually mondays it helps so I would talk to peter2772000 an take him up on his offer, you will feel better. it is all the advice I can give.

got my card today Friday June 13th so I am a happy man took little over a month for me.:)

Congrats.

got my card today Friday June 13th so I am a happy man took little over a month for me.:)

I got my restricted course letter today so I brought it with me to my doctors office, the secretary asked me why I wanted to buy a gun and I told her it was to teach me concentration and how to focus and she told me that sounded ok, but I won't be able to see my doctor until late next week for a referral to a psychiatrist so that I can get the letter from him that even though I have depression I am not a danger to myself in any way and that I can handle a weapon safely and securely.

But I will probably have to wait for about 2-4 weeks before I can get that paper and then I have to apply to CFC too so I can get my PAL and RPAL, I found a Ruger MKIII on EE that I want to get for $300 including shipping but I can't until I have that card in my possession but after that then I will be more at the club shooting then I will be at home. :D

Hope to maybe see you at the club some day and we can chat and shoot together.

Enjoy and once again, congrats.

I read on the CTVSP website that Info-Secure won't let CTVSP handle the courses anymore, do you know why and is there any way we can fight them on this??

I am quite annoyed that I came to the Info-Secure website and no information was in english at all, my french is extremely bad and I had to click on every link to try and find the info for the courses and the amount, I would think that an organization that is contracted by the Canadian Government to handle firearm requests and information should have a website for both francophone and anglophone, even the Quebec Government has a website that is bilingual even though some important sections are only in french.

Welcome Sleepless!

I had the same problem too! So, I just spent my money elsewhere; I went to Ontario to do mine. Problem solved. :)
