New to this forum and I am fairly new to firearms. I recently purchased a chinese sks rifle and I currently waiting to put a Tapco stock on it. This would be my first project but being new to guns I am willing to let an expert do it for me.

Don't believe everything you read but there are so many opinions on this forum that you can read an all around discusion on a subject that you are interested in and decide for yourself from there. Greeting neighbour! I'm in Etobicoke. I have a modified Russian SKS which I was just shooting this weekend. What a hoot!!! I'm in the process of tuning it up for the fall hunting season. You'll find all the info you need plus on the Red Rifle forum, but if you need a hand, let me know. Nice to have you aboard.

My SKS was the first gun I fully disassembled. I followed a YouTube video and had no troubles. Easy gun to work with.

Enjoy the forum, lots of experienced men and women on here so don't be shy to ask. Searching the forum can be a bit sketchy but you can be rewarded with hours of reading if you give it a shot.
