I just passed both CFS & CRFS exams past weekend and I'm looking forward to obtain PAL (in few months) and eventually join either Burlington, Guelph or Silverdale clubs to enjoy target shooting.
In the past I shot few times at ranges in Europe with sig, walther and brs-99 pistols.

I'll probably join Guelph. Have tried emailing Burlington gun club many times, I have also applied for their membership, but all I get is silence. Obviously they're not interested in making this sport more popular.

Just got my non restricted test results yesterday, hurray. Waiting for restricted before sending my pal appl.

welcome from Hamilton and good luck. Burlington did have a long wait list not sure of how they reply though. There is WSSC in hamilton. HAHA in ancaster etc. Check the web for #'s Silverdale and Guelph are nice ranges as well:)

I was also suggested via PM not to waste time and head directly to Silverdale.
I'll look into WSSC as well. :)

First I've got to get those test results back before I do anything else. I've already got my non restricted but for some reason it takes a longer for restricted even though both were sent on the same day..
 
time ticks slowly

It seems to take them a while for the restricted:( try calling and asking after the waiting period just be friendly about it I've heard it can help speed things up. And if your going to work in the industry ( Boarder / Brinks/ G4S) etc let them know that as well. Silverdale has lots to offer its outside, WSSC has lots to offer as well it is inside only :confused: lol

why not Hamilton Angling and Hunters Association? or HAHA near Brantford... almost 30 min closer than silverdale.
