Greetings from Northern Ontario

Hello everyone! Signed up recently and figured it was time to introduce myself.

Used to hunt back in my teen years but put it down until about a year ago. (late 1980s/early 90s) Got my hunter's and PAL licences again because I missed it. I've also had a long fascination with war weaponry so the majority of my still humble collection is WWI and WWII rifles. Expecting my RPAL to arrive soon and that will launch my handgun collection -- again mostly WWII but there will be modern arms as well.

As I don't own a handgun yet my preferred shooting is rifles.

Look forward to learning a lot and hopefully contributing at least a little bit.

Welcome and lotsa info here.Hand guns are just another venue from the firearms branch that are rewarding, trying to master, like archery, golf, bowling etc. They are difficult to become proficient in, but easy to regress back to amateur status .Where abouts are you from up there?Don't have to be specific just general area.

Welcome to CGN ;)

I don't mind being specific; I'm from Sudbury. I look forward to the handgun aspect of the sport though our ranges up here have wait times to join. Waiting patiently, ha ha.
My wife has relatives in Sudbury. She also has more of them in Noelville,Levack and Thunder Bay.Everytime I go moose hunting it's a family reunion where-ever we go,she has registered Metis status so almost everybody knows somebody!

I sometimes think everyone in Northern Ontario is either two or three degrees of relation to everyone else or they know someone who is :)
