I have a life long interest in firearms, both in uniform and out. My interests have mostly been with milsurp family. I've played with a few off shore toys and I am alway interested in reading other peoples experiences and questions.

Hello and welcome. I'm a collector of handguns and really don't know much about rifles.
In years past I did have a fair amount of experience with an M-2 carbine and much later a Chinese SKS, and I now have one of the mini-Mauser Spanish police carbines they optimistically called, "The Destroyer" (built just like a Mauser, but quite small and fires the same cartridge as the handguns they carried during the Franco years). Enjoy the site.

I know what you mean, I am addicted to milsurps. All but 2 of mine were in military service.

From one ex soldier to another, welcome! I been shooting and handling milsurps almost all my life, and let far too many rarities go out of my hands over the years. Nailed my first deer with No4. Lee (open sights, 130 yds, lung shot) many moons ago, and now looking to blood my new SKS. Have a blast with the site, and welcome once again.
