Hello everyone and greetings form the Pacific Northwest! I had registered here years ago and now I am back. :)

Just picked up our version of the PE 90, a SG 551-2 SP. Since they haven't been imported since 1989, they are pretty scarce. There are some Police Dept. 552s and 551s that are hitting the market right now in the US at a decent price, but still pricey at $5000.00.

Thanks!

Ross

Welcome back to the board!! Where abouts in Oregon are you at? I'm a fellow Oregonian, albeit loooong ago transplanted.

Just got back last Saturday from a 10 day trip down your way to visit family over the 4th of July. Flew into Portland and spent half the time just east of there visiting an Aunt and cousins out in Estacada (wife and daughter always enjoy the tax-free shopping at the outlet mall down in Woodburn). Spent the other half of the time down on the coast over the 4th, family reunion and parade/fireworks about 45 minutes south of Astoria in the Nehalem/Manzanita area (LOTS of family living in that area still).

Hello and welcome. Many years ago, we lived just outside of John Day. Had a Cessna 172 then, and used to fly into Troutdale to visit the big city from time to time. Liked that country. Have good friends outside Baker City. Enjoy the site.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. !

I am in the NE part of Portland. Just getting settled and checking out the local enviroment.

If you like steak you'll have to check out a local institution, Sayler's Country Kitchen. Place has been there for years, my dad used to take us there when we were kids. I think it's the Sandy exit off of I-205, then a couple of blocks East.
