I am new to cgn but eager to learn from all you guys. I am looking for some guys to go hunting with, deer, chicken, waterfowl, I am so eager to get out and do the spring goose hunt, but have no one to go with as I am new at this. I also don't know any of the good spots in manitoba.

If any of you guys or gals are interested in forming a hunting party that would be great.

Welcome jra.I hunt only big game not much of a bird hunter.What part of Wpg. you from N,S,E,W?There is a community pasture up by Libau which borders along Devils :evil: creek.You do need written permission to hunt it.
phone # 482-5233.It is decent for deer,grouse,and waterfowl.7 miles east is Mars Hill wildlife management it is crown land and good for deer,grouse,rabbit,
and yotes.As far as a hunting party I hunt with my father,wife,and daughter.
Just purchased land up by Poplarfield so I am looking forward to hunting up there this year. Feel free to pm me with any questions as i would love to help you out if I can.:) ttyl

This pasture, is it off of hwy 59

I am pretty sure his name is John,he is the pasture manager.He gets you to fill out a permission slip that you carry with you it has your name,address,
vehicle type,plate #.He doesn't allow vehicle entery into the pastures except
the gate by the back marsh is sometimes open.Alot of the pastures are small sections of land with two large pastures.There is also some crown land out by Richer (east on #1) probably better for deer,grouse.Haven't hunted there in 20 years though.The Libau community pasture is 25 miles north on hwy.59
