Hello CGN world ! Angelo here to introduce himself.

So I'm Angelo F. My usertag/internet name is NIKKObwoy
I currently reside in Hamilton, Ontario, aged 17.

I decided to join CGN because I actually just recently finished my BlackBadge course (August8) and now Im here to get some tips and tricks from all you veterans out there in shooting.

I've done both safety and Black Badge courses and am currently trying to find that perfect gun to finally get my turn in my first IPSC competition.

The gun I've actually had my sight on is a CZ 75-SP01 Shadow from CZ Customs but it being in US, I dont feel like paying the 250$ export fee so if anyone here is selling a spare one (I've heard it's a great gun so I doubt anyone's selling their one and only Shadow :p) please message ASAP :D

If the Shadow is not a very good starter gun, don't be shy to say so and please help me with the decision of my first ever gun! Wouldn't it be cool to be that influence? haha!

So again, HELLO! And I'll be seeing everyone around CGN :)
 
Ahh...Hamilton, the city I was born in. I live in Burlytown now, but am still close by. Good to see another local member. I don't like shadows because everyone and their brother shoots one in Production, but I'm sure it's a nice starter pistol. Prolly why everyone has one. Real nice right out of the box. Epps would prolly have one around 800 and with their new email order form getting your hands on one should be a breeze. Also they ship lightning fast if it's in stock.

I like it there in Burlington, nice city. I have an uncle who lives there and his townhouse looks luxurious! :p

Welcome to the boards Angelo. I am new around here as well....also was born/raised in Hamilton but now live/work in Burlington. But, will always be a Hamiltonian at heart.

The 'epps' is in reference to Ellwoods Epps.....a gun retailer in Orillia. Great selection...have a look:

You might have to wait a bit then. Maybe Epps can do a layaway?
 
Yeah, I can get my PAL now but will have to wait til I turn 18 to actually get it.
I was planning on asking my dad to get it, since he's the one who started me in it
But now he wants to sell me his STI GP6
Its a good gun (its what I used for my Black Badge Course) but then whats the point of continuing in the sport if you cant beat your own father at it? aha!

Do all kids nowadays have the itch to beat their father on something? WII, Play Station, my kids bother me so much to play with them. Enjoy it though, win or loose its my kids. I just let my younger one win just to make her happy. I tell my other kids, if I play this everyday like you do, your:owned: :D:D

Hi folks. I've been living in the Edmonton area for nearly 10 years because of work but home is small town Saskatchewan. I belong to the NFA and the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation. I have sent e-mails to all MPs regarding Bill C-391. I am presently writing letters to all of the Opposition members who previously supported Bill C-391 at second reading in November of 2009. I became active in the battle for my rights as a freedom-loving citizen and as a gun owner back in the mid-90s when Allen Rock's/Chretien's Bill C-68 was introduced. This is an excellent web site.

As for those interested in reloading, I asked my dad and he told me some places he found his info to get started up on reloading.
