Well hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and hope you all will be gentle with me lol. I'm getting back into a great hobby which is target and clay shooting. Had tried it years ago (target only) but now want to get back into it.

I'm looking to buy a shot gun that befits the type of shooting I want to do so if anyone has advice on the best one, and also, the best place here in Winnipeg or close by that has a range I can go to, please feel free to let me know.

Also interested in pistol shooting and maybe bow and arrow. lol
 
Welcome to the forum. For local clays shooting I extend an invitation for you to come out the the Winnipeg Trap & Skeet club. It offers ATA Trap, International Trap, American Skeet, International Skeet, 5-Stand and Sporting Clay shoots throughout the season.

Not sure about bow and arrow, I think Heights Archery on Portage Avenue would be your best bet.

For ranges there is Steinbach Fish and Game, Selkirk Fish and Game and the Winnipeg Revolver and Pistol Association just North of the city.

I've shot a Mossberg before but think I'd should maybe try using a Remington 1100 in 12 gauge instead. Does anyone currently use a Remington or has used one? If so, how did you find it for trap and skeet shooting?
