hello all - Am in the process of retiring and taking care of some items on my to do list - including getting my PAL and PAL-R and doing some target shooting, something I enjoyed as a kid. I have several friends who recommended this group and am looking forward to learning and getting back into it.

10 years age I got my RPAL, wanting to get back into target shooting, like you, when I was a kid.
For sure get your PAL and RPAL, and get your self a good 22, look into the Ruger 10/22.
Hopefully down the road, hand guns will be back on the market, for you to collect hand guns.
For now I would suggest looking into a Heritage Rough Rider that is a rifle revolver in 22
and you can pick up a cylinder in 22 magnum, this will give you a good idea if you would like a RPAL revolver.
