Had a friend send me these pics of a belt he has. He was asking about value and I said I would ask the good guys on CGN.

Anyone know much about the GG? Value of this belt?

Before my time at the regiment (1980's)

My brother was also in the regiment and into re-enacting.

Sent him the pics and he had this to say:
WW1, I have the same but my buckle was chromed and leather replaced by white thick plastic(NCO).
That looks like ww1 original or prior to WW1.
87 Battalion Me thinks.
