Hello,

I was hoping for some insight from someone who has maybe been in the same boat as me.

I have a Dlask receiver with a Kidd 2 stage trigger and I recently purchased a Grey Birch Foundation Chassis for it.

I saw on this review, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNAamYBdhk0), of the chassis that the Dlask receiver with a Kidd trigger would not fit into the chassis without modification.

If any of you have experience with this, would you be able to let me know what part of the chassis should be shaved down in order to fit the trigger/receiver combo? would it be at the rear of the receiver where the groove in the rear of the trigger group sits in the chassis or would it be at the front where those 2 vertical bars sit? Or should I just pay a gunsmith and avoid ruining something with my lack of experience?

Thanks for your time :)

You can ask to Grey birch mfg but wait they have very bad customer service..... they fool me twice. Grey birch mfg are not behind their products.

Good Luck .

When I did mine I had to work on the alum protrusion that sits between the trigger assembly and the receiver. Kind of works like a rear screw hold down for the back of the receiver.

The thickness of the chassis part there is more than the distance between the dlask and the trigger housing. When you look at the back of the receiver, with the trigger installed you will see what I mean.

A few minutes of Dremel work and things were all good. You will never see into that area so its not like clock work accuracy has to be maintained. You want it to go in smoothly, snug, but not tight. You still want the main take down screw to go in easy.

I have had minor fitting work on most of the chassis that I end up purchasing, so this is no different.

I have a TUFF22 receiver with a Kidd single stage trigger in a grey birch foundation stock and didn't have much of an issue putting it in. It was a tight fit and did require a bit of force to get it into place but I didn't have to make any modifications to the stock.
