Got this during their killer moving sale. I’m a total noob when it comes to plate adapters for red dots.

From what I gather, many models have compatible plates, and there is generally only a handful of bolt patterns.

Is there a cheat sheet to know which red dots are compatible for each mount? Am I looking too hard into this? Just not wanting to spend hundreds to find out I don’t have a plate to mount it.

Thanks

It's a bit tricky, one of the plates will do doctor style which includes burris fast fire's, pretty sure there is an RMR which will do some primary arms and Trijicon.
Then I believe vortex optics will work with the other plate but it's been a while since I looked at what it came with.

I'm still waiting on a pre moving sale order that has been in the mail for 14 days with no tracking.... hard to believe mine shipped last but I've had packages take more then 2 weeks before so...... fingers crossed!

Edit, The micro red dot from primary arms that Marstar just announced today for around $300 will work.

Thanks, that’s the one I went with. Saw the post from Marstar and looked up the docter mount. Can’t wait to shoot this RDR

I'm still shopping around, seeing red dot options in the 2 MOA - 7 MOA range, and strongly suspecting an RDR's accuracy should be a better match for the tiny end of the scale. The really big dots would be for short-range pistol work.
