May have the same as Mine. I found the area too thick.A guy on here was making ones like that years ago. I got one, it’s ok but I prefer the kinetic puller to this. It’s hard on the hand having to squeeze the steel so tight to get it to grip well. Also it mars the bullet as stated earlier.
I always wanted to try one of those Rcbs die pullers.
It's a good system can become costly if you have to buy a bunch of different calibre collets.
Seems to be extra work if you already have the cartridge in the inertia puller. Just tap the puller a couple more times.Works great as long as the rounds are not crimped.
In that case i suggest a couple of taps with the inertia puller to get rhe bullet moving in the neck, then finish pulling in the press to save the powder mess.
I use a set of channel locks to close the jaws if I have a few a to pull and it saves the hands.
