Anyone know where in Canada I can shop for new grip panels for my Ruger Blackhawk. I am tricking it out for a more Old West look and want something classier than the stock walnut. Ebony or Elk Horn would be my 1st and 2nd choices.

Will Colt grip panels fit a New Model Blackhawk?

I got my replacement grips from Letts in the US. There was no problem with importing the grips, and because Letts makes the handgun grips for Ruger, there should be no fitting issues. I just tried to get on their web site so I could post a pic for you, but it's closed for maintenance. Google Letts, in a few days, and I'm sure you'll find something you'll like at a reasonable price.

If you want Colt panels, I think you will need to get an aftermarket grip frame in order to use them. These are available at Brownells for about $200.00 USD.

i have bought many pair from cary chapman in california.
he makes them custom to your grip frame if you send it to him.
i have not done that, but they fit as well or better than the factory ones.
he will install the factory medalions, texas stars or case heads of your choice in brass or nickel....he is also a fine guy to deal with & his grips are the finest i've seen!
check out his website, i'm sure you will drool....:p

if you decide to buy from him, tell him Ruffbird sent you...:D
oh ya, i almost forgot to tell you,....he will mail them through the post office & they come right to the door in a small box without paying the duty...

here's some of the ones on my rugers....:)

There is also a fellow in Cochise AZ named Ken Myers. He makes all sorts of grips in polyurethane but they finish up very nice. He has a website tombstonesilver.com if u want to look into further and he is very reasonably priced.
Cheers
