I played with one at the TSE/TSC open house, pretty neat little set up. It felt wierd though with the bipod so far down from the barrel/stock.

And that is only the polymer model. The metal model is more. Nice gadget though

I personally am waiting for the TangoDown bipod

I would imagine not so good. I don't think you can even pivot it for angled surface.

If your looking to build a really light weight AR I could see it being usefull. Like for one of those pencil barreled plastic lowered guns. I would have to try one before casting judgement.

TD bipod will be goign on the plastic lower pencil barrel gun from my understanding IF the project goes forward.

Rumours out of USSOC have the Hk416 being the drop on replacement scuttelign SCAR, and the Hk417 just killed KAC's SASS contract...

Tobad Hk is what it is....
