Grip screws for Norinco 1911

IIRC Norinco grip screws are common/same however the bushing is different. Metric threading into the frame.
You should be able to use standard grip screws. However strip a bushing and you'll be searching for something less common.

I ordered two full sets of screws and bushings for my 1911's one set wet perfectly into my gsg and the other the DA 1911 the bushings would not unscrew and will re tap later. however the screws did work so for now I'm leaving it.

Everybody sell grip screws for your Norinco 1911. The problem you'll face is with your grip screw bushings.

If you are smart, you won't touch your grip screw bushings. They should be staked in place, and they shouldn't move on their own. If you decide to remove your grip screw bushings, before you do it you should acquire replacement bushings, because the Norinco thread is different; standard 1911 grip screw bushings won't work.

Your options, should you want to replace the Norinco bushings...say, to change out the grip panels for slim ones...would include rethreading for 'oversize' 1911 grip screw bushings. The necessary gear (including the tap, the staking tool, and the 'oversize' grip screw bushings) is available from Brownells.
