Is there a website out there dedicated to the specs of pistols and their respective grip sizes? Looking for a 22 pistol for the wife. She has small hands. Has trouble with my glock, even with the 22 conversion kit on it.

Just looking for a site where I can compare apples to apples, as it were.

FYI, the Ruger SR22 pistol fits perfectly, but a little pricey.

Thanks

Not that I know of. Mostly folks just ask away.

Glocks are bulky for sure. And Beretta 92fs's are also for those with large hands. Guns that the ladies like holding tend towards 1911's, Ruger Mk series guns with the more swept back "target" style frames and in a lot of cases the CZ pistols. The CZ's are not all that small a circumference but they've got more of an egg like shape with the "point" along the back strap. And that seems to work well with smaller hands.

Another option is the scaled down Browning 1911-22. Being an 80% sized gun it's tailor made for small hands.

The Ruger SR pistols are a smaller size grip as well. I know that in shooting the SR9 a couple of times that they felt rather dainty in my hands. So I'm not surprised when you say she fit the SR22 well. But if you think THOSE cost too much you won't be buying a CZ Kadet at up around $1K.

No sites come to mind that compare grip sizes. For what it s worth the Walther P22 is also worth looking at and decently priced. You can find them used from $250-350 depending on condition. The GSG 1911 might also fit with the right grips and is under $500 new and much lower used.

I have a bunch of .22LR pistols. I'm really happy with the Browning Buckmark I have and the Ruger Mark III. These two are far and away better than the GSG1911 but that is OK up to a point. You could consider a revolver as well. They may fit her hands well. I really can't comment on the small hands at all.

I have three semi-auto pistols in 22LR: the GSG 1911, the Grand Power K22S and the Norinco M93 Sportsman that is a clone of the Colt Woodsman. The Norinco M93 has by far the smallest grip that would fit small ladies hands absolutely perfectly. It is also very comfortable to shoot even for people with large hands like mine and it's very accurate.

I second the 1911. I have girlie hands as well as my wifey. I can do the 92fs pretty well (have 2 of em) I definitely have to hold it firm.... but a 1911 grip fits both of our hands pretty nicely. You just can't be it really.
