Grip that wraps entirely around S&W 629 recommendations?

Hello,

After firing a few hundred rounds of 44 magnum loads, the stock Hogue grips although very nice, it doesn't wrap around the whole entire back side. It's the metal part that is killing my palm.

Magnum loads are great but I need a better cushion.

Can anyone recommend me some nice grips and place so that I can shoot more.

the Pachmayr Grippers and Presentation grips wrap around the backstrap except the "Professional" versions.

If your 629 is the newer round butt version, you can also use the S&W X-frame (460/500) grips.

rgv: I have a 629-6 6.5". Bought it new around June this year. Is that good news?

Hogue also makes a version that covers the backstrap, if you want to stay with Hogue.

Before making a move I would look at Herritt stocks and Eagle grips.
