The Chinese have cloned that one cheaply. But having used a C9, I doubt if it would last. I would buy one for fun though.

The problem would be going to ground. I landed hard. For static firing, it would be fine, but traverse is limited. Why bother when the regular bipod works?

I just like it because its steel not cheap plastic. Are there steel verts?

Yes their are steel verts - but why? I've used both the TD and KAC ones in Afghanistan - never had a problem (just buy REAl ones not airsoft knock offs)

The only use I have for the Grip-Pod is on our Para-Saw's since with a M249RAS on it - you pretty much have to pull the bipod (or it folds forward)
