Grips for Colt J frame (Trooper)

Hi,

recently picked up a really nice Colt trooper. Came with the original wood grips and a set of black rubber Pachmayr grips. I like the size and feel of the pachmayr, but much prefer the look of wood grips with a blued gun. I find the original grips too small for practical use ( although they look good). Who makes nice aftermarket wood grips that will fit a J frame? I'm looking for something that is wooden, but approximately the same size as my pachmayr grips, something like this: ( pic from wikipedia, not mine)

Eagle used to make grips for your gun, I have a set of nice Stag grips for a Trooper ... somewhere. I don't think they're bigger than your combat grips, though they may be rivals in a beauty contest.

Not sure who else. That's a pretty Colt!

OP, does Hogue make anything you like? Say something like this, for a J-frame square butt:

They will ship to Canada with no problems.

Hogue used to back when the Mk III was a production gun, don't know if they still do. Herretts does, and they make fine pistol stocks. - dan
