Well I ended up taping together 2 magazine to see if i could make it work.

It sorta did.
As long as they are put together decently flush the follower slides perfectly fine. (would be welded in a vise to make sure its perfect if this were to pan out)
It held a total of 11 shells.
The first 5 would nose into the front of the magazine. There is just not enough force on the front of the follower with that many shells in to push the front of the shell up.
The last 6 worked perfect.

So now the obvious answer would be to remove some material from the front of the magazine, but then i suspect they would not be angled enough to slide properly on the ramp inside the gun.

Any thoughts or ideas on how to overcome this?
Has anyone removed material from the front of your mag's and still had them feed?

Other than a drum, which i cant put together in my back yard....

(when i compressed the video the audio was sped up, chipmunk ftw!)

I am doing the same thing but in my plan I double the spring with a thin plate in the middle and cutting the spring down in small sections until it fits also cutting the follower down to add some room
