Grizzly 8.5 tube spring length

Long story short I lost my tube spring for my 8.5 grizzly.
I ordered a new spring from S&J hardware.
Do I need to cut it a certain length if so can someone measure theirs for me.

I can measure mine for you but it's from a Dlask 8.5" 870.

Mine looks like 14.125" long.

So low and behold my spring came in today.
I am puting 3 shells in the tube and with that length it was a no go.
Cut it down to 11.5 inches and it works like a charm.

That's odd that there would be such a length difference.

I have an overpower spring coming from a S&J I wonder what length I'll need.
