Grizzly 8.5in Safety Issue - Handguard modification

personally id be a lot more interested in an MCS forend. should be pretty straightforward to do. Remington refuses to sell to civilians, so just have the Chinese clone one of them.

I would buy an 8.5 with the MCS front end in a heartbeat. I had a forend like that *actually features in another post right now* but it had 2 light cut outs on the side and it ripped apart my hands using it. And looked silly on a 12.5" barrel I thought. It would look much better on an 8.5 barrel

On a side note, where can I get a grizzly with an 8.5" barrel? All I ever see are the 12.5" ones.

click the CanadaAmmo banner at the top of the forum. not sure if theyre in stock now, but if you check the thread in the CanAm forum here on CGN, IIRC they mentioned theyd be getting more short grizzlies/mag feds in this year.

the 8.5 needs the mag tube permanently modified for the 8.5 barrel. probly why you don't see them for sale.
