I picked up a Grizzly Mag 12.5" a couple of weeks ago and for the first hundred or so rounds, I had only a few FTF and FTE issues (1/10 at the most).
I took it to the range last night and I was having a feed or ejection issue ever 1/5 rounds! It also would sometimes not want to cycle at all, with the front pump being jammed in the closed position until I removed the magazine and reefed on the pump to get it to open.
Ive done a search and found a few suggestions (like bumping the top of the mag plate/filing the feed lips and grinding the lip inside the chamber BUT does anyone have any other suggestions?
I know it will take a couple of hundred more rounds till she's fully broken in, but if there are any other mods or tweaks I can do to get her running right, I would like to get it all done. Don't get me wrong, the gun is a load of fun when it's running smoothly, but I want to get it as close to 100% as possible. It's going to be a bear gun for our cabin so I need to know I can count on it under pressure. So far, not so good.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys in advance, Chuck.
