Has anyone seen this movie?
It's about a rather eccentric guy (an ex actor/surfer) who has been documenting grizzlies for the last decade or so. During the past 13 years, he has spent the summers with them and had documented over 100 hours of footage. That was until 2003 when he and his girlfriend were killed and eaten by a rather hungry and lean grizzly. The grizzly was shot a few days later, and his remains were discovered in it's stomach...
The interesting part was that he had his camera at the time of his death, which was filming, however, he didn't manage to take the lens-cap off... so all that was documented was the audio. The actual audio is not in the movie, but there is a scene where the director is listening to it with headphones and he just starts crying. Must be quite hard to listen to.
Anyways, I was thinking of going to see this movie. It is supposed to be a very good documentary, very touching with plenty of grizzly footage.
Here is the webpage with the trailer... check it out... the DVD is coming out after Christmas. It is supposed to be aired on the Discovery channel as well in early 2006.
