Grizzly shotgun - soot 3" shells?

Hi,

I just bought a DA grizzly shotgun. It says it shoots 2 3/4" shells. Anyone shot 3" slugs or buckshot out of one? Any issues?

If it’s the mag Fed, stick with 2 3/4” shells. The 3” shells stick.

Look on the left side of the barrel, it will be stamped on it what it’s chambered for. Usually it will say for 2 3/4” or 3” shells, as already said the mag fed has a difficult time feeding 3” shells from the magazine.

Way back canadaammo stated on a thread that they put 2 3/4” on barrels intended for mag fed shotguns to avoid warranty returns with 3” shells. Apparently, all the barrels shoot 3” shells, but the 3” shells get stuck in the magfed.

Mine was clearly marked 3" and I fired a handful of 3 inch winchester super X foster slugs through it with no problems.

I also remember posting a picture of the marking for another member on here years ago. The marking on his barrel wasn't stamped very deep so he wasn't sure if they had 3 inch chambers. Upon closer inspection he could see the 3" marking, but had to look very closely.
