Anyone have experience with Grizzly machines? Know where they're made by chance? (Assuming China)

I have an eye on their vertical/horizontal mill and a gunsmithing oriented lathe they have out, would like to hear what the collective's got to say on them.

They are the average or slightly above average imported tools. They won't ship to Canada, so unless you can run down to Bellingham, WA and pick them up, you're SOL.

I have a US address too fortunately, if I buy them I'll be having them sent there. Appreciate the info.

I have there G4000 9x19 lathe and am happy with it. I am probably going to get a mill from them some time soon. If they have not changed things they will let you have it shipped to you. But you have to set up the trucking company and border broker yourself.

I tried to get them to ship me a Sieg X2 minimill a while ago. They said that there is some family ties (cousins?) to the Busy Bee family and they try to respect each others 'territories'. Maybe they bend the rules once in a while.

It's a same really as Grizzly's machine selection is vastly better than Busy Bee's.

Any ways to get back on topic, I've read good things about Grizzly machines and I've heard their after sales service is decent too.
