I have began collecting them. I have the issued #3s CAF, and have recently picked up a #3 marked to the 12th Service Battalion from BC, it has the crest stamped in the sheath as well as etched on the blade. I know that the Coast Guard version is avalaible commerically from Grohmann....

Does anyone else know of units that had them marked?

I had 2 that were issued to me over the years and managed to keep one that I still have. To the best of my knowledge, none of the issued ones were marked or engraved with a unit insignia. We used to put either jump wings, US rapel master wings or a unit collar dog on the top sheath cover.

I remember some of the unit kit shops selling jump knives. That's probably what you've got.

Airborne kit shop sells Jump knifes...With Regimental crest on Scabber..Jump wings, engraved on one side of Blade, Pegasus engraved on other side, All knifes are serial numbered. Go to commando.org....Click on Kit shop

I got mine from the 1 PPCLI Kit shop at Garrison Edmonton. Great knife for sure. My first pic every time I go hunting. IT skinned my 10 point buck last season.

Got it about ten years ago, still have original box with all papers.
