Folks,I'm once again looking for your advice. This year I want to add a portable ground blind to my arsenal.I will be Turkey and Deer shotgunning as well as Crossbow shooting from it.Ideally one that will accomodate a compound bow shooter would be great, but reading the reviews on Cabelas site and such, only the biggest ones seem suitable for that.Anyhow,I'd like to hear your stories and opinions please.

I bought a Groundmax 2 years ago, and another last fall. Both are going strong and are well suited for compounds. Others will mention a Double Bull and agree they are a great blind. I went with what I did because I could get 3 for the price of 1 DB.

Best of luck with what you decide on.

I have an Ameristep dogouse and 3x outhouses. the doghouse is great when there are two hunters but collects snow on the roof which will colapse it. The outhouses is great for one hunter, you can stand up and stretch in it and the snow slides off of it.

Summit has a couple new ones out this year called the Run-N-Gun standered and deluxe models. these blinds do not need any poles and is a sit and expand for fast setup. 5x5x65 for the standerd and 6x6x69 for the delux...

ANother vote for the Ameristep Doghouse blind.Sets up fast and easy, lots of room for hunter and gear, great camo pattern, just an all around fantastic blind.

I've had mine 3 years and my buddy and I have got deer out of them each season.
