Well done! I really mean that.

Great call on the mesh-on-rack as well.

Question: is it silicon paper mesh or a metal one? Was just thinking if the latter, I was wondering what you used to keep it from sticking?

Its regular fiberglass window screen, it sticks a bit but is easily peeled off.

do you find it easier to grind it half frozen... i just spent a good 6 hours grinding up 25lbs of non frozen deer... i am starting to like the looks of that electric one

When grinding meat for sausage or jerky, I use meat that still has ice crystals in it. I don't like the idea of meat staying out at room temperature, and the meat will grind easier. When the meat get warm, any specks of fat get slimy and will not grind well and just kind of clog up the grinder blades.

if you have a princess auto thats were I got mine lol but only go in there if you have strength lol I try and leave that store with one thing and it never works arggg lol
they also have heavy duty meat grinder ( hand crank) and ya peavy mart has them too!!
I'am just glad either store is 2 hrs away from me hehe
peavy mart did have the full kits with the spices ( too cool) and seperate spices packs for doing the ground meat jerky :D
