Group in a dime, Nemesis and Sightron 10X50X60....

Got out for 10 groups of practice, if i except the second attempt all groups were around 1.5 MOA, the second group was @ .95 MOA, still got alot of work to do to get those all under a dime, next week another try along my new Zastava 308 Manlicher, at least i have great fun trying... JP.

Well i just read thru this whole thread and i am entertained! 5 shot group under a dime with a non BR rifle? Ummmmmm ok. Best of luck.

"...5 shots under a dime at 300m is impressive..." It's Olypmic class shooting.
"...very high magnification scope..." That isn't going to make a lick of difference if your rifle and ammo isn't up to that level of accuracy.

You should see him shoot with that Nemesis....I am suprised he is not putting them all in one hole with the groups he is claiming with that thing.

I suspect that my shooting shape is not at it's peak, one more year to the dial, 2 months of great foods and superbs french red wines, but no reason for stop trying... And shooting.... JP.

I offer this as a summation of this thread:

I'm more than happy to see you complete this personal goal and congratulate you for it, but until then all this thread will do is allow for more posturing and arguing between members that seem to enjoy bickering with others. Something which I'm sure you have experienced Caramel.

Great video!!!!! Love the excuses that this may not be completed because of the "annual" 2 month European vacation..Ha ha

For informationnal purpose, if i except one .9 group out of 35 groups, the average is around 1.250 MOA, so no use bragging about not achieving my goal, i know you guys are impatient but i will only make big noise if i succed, missing is not to be proud will be up my place next week going for it... JP.

How many chances are you going to take. If you do it enough times you can eventually fluke one in.

The way i see it if i can do it one time, it is no more an utopia, it can be done a second time at least i know it... JP.

That, sadly, hasn't been my experience - did it once but, alas, second time eludes me.

But you know it's possible, i dont know if i can do it with my Nemesis, my custom from North Shores will be here soon, will try it with this one to, did try it with my Browning A-bolt Target 308 and i am doing better with my takedown, i am having great fun in the process, it is always a good day when i spend it shooting... JP.

What happened that your rifle went from a .2-,3 moa @ 300 yards to a 1.25 moa rifle? Unless I am wrong I thought you were shooting groups well under 1" at 300.
**EDIT** I did some research and saw that you were shooting those groups at 200. But still, why the major change in accuracy?

I am actually shooting the same .3 to .450 @ 300 metres 1.250 is the size of the group @ 300 metres, but i meed a group south of .7 at 300 metres ( .23 MOA) i did not succed doing it yet, great day here will be at it early... JP.

You need to stop getting your group sizes and MOA mixed up. 1.25 MOA @ 300m is deplorable. However a 1.25 INCH group @ 300m is Excellent.
