Well, been following the caramel saga for it seems like years now .... have had me a good hearty (beery) late nite chuckle or two at his expense on JP's eternal quest for CGN credibility. Bottom line, it's all good, he loves to shoot. As do we all .... tho most of us, we do so while holding a gun. (finally, I too have razzed JP) ... 
Never till now has me posted, cause there just ain't nutt'n pedestrian enough happening here that 'lil 'ol shyte-shot me could ever hope to hold a candle to anyhow.

And just to make sure everyones read that clearly, i will not be reviewing anymore rifles, so nobody have to worry, the Nemesis was the only one in all our communauty, so it was important people who were interrested in it had at least one member shooting it, nobody else have to worry, nobody gonna be drag in the mudd...

Ahhhh Gatineau.... a magical place full of legend and lore! A place where every gun shoots .25moa all day everyday, and the ringing sound you hear is not of bells but of bullets finding their way home to dime size gongs! A place where our shooting Maestro go's to play a symphony of ringing steel (do dimes ring??) with the nemesis as his instrument.

Caramel is a showman and CGN is his stage. Right now he's acting dramatic.
So. A guy has a gun that shoots, sets a goal he admits he can't achieve throws in the towel admits it can't be done and takes heat for it. This is called honesty in some parts of the world. And guys here are calling him out for not being honest. A brilliant bunch for sure

Bob, your posts are definitely the best and always a good read. Caramel's posts are obviously getting quite popular for other reasons and my comments are slightly exaggerated.

Sad thing is, he would have got heat from the peanut gallery regardless of whether he could or could not succeed at his goals. I just dont get why so many let his goals become their obsession. As the saying goes, "Great minds talk about ideas, small minds talk about people"...

Oh come on really? Plot spoiler here. He would have just been able to do it. Whether or not it was actually accomplished doesn't really matter. It would make a good story. People eat that crap up. There's about as much "intrique" here as to the plot and ending of a Michael Bay movie. Predictable, but getting better at the craft. As the first MR1 situation wasn't anywhere near as smooth. He's getting much better and I'm not talking about the shooting.
Geez enjoy it for what it is. It's entertainment. The problem is when the new shooters start to fall for it and get unreal expectations, get frustrated and then leave the sport. Or just make crud up on the internet. Either one doesn't help. If it's known it's for entertainment value from the beginning then it's just fun. Think of it like WWE wrestling. Only idiots and small children actually believe that crap is real. I've run into people that swear it's real. It's entertainment not real.
