how are the grouse numbers this year .in bc?. I haven't been out yet.

Better than here I hope. Still convinced the West Nile virus knocked them back.

They were really thin last year around here, was out the other day and actually seen a few more than expected. New dog finds them really fast

Lots this year, the dry spring was good for them I would expect.

Been hearing the numbers are good.
Went fishing yesterday and we saw half a dozen along the road on our trip in to the lake. (didn't pack the shotgun with us)

Definitely up from the last two seasons.
Not great numbers. But definitely on the up swing of their cycle.
