Grouse season is right around the corner!

I can't be the only one getting excited to get back in the woods to chase little birds!
- It will be interesting to see what the population is like this year. Seems like summer I've seen more hawks/eagles/owls than grouse

Grouse season is open here in the East Kootenays of BC as well. Been looking for archery elk, no bulls down, and no grouse were harmed at the making of this post!......

Our ruffed grouse are sure delicious.......

I'm looking forward to Grouse season in the next few weeks...
Fire season is grinding down thanks to Mother Nature and the Hard work of the men and women doing their part in this fight.
The 1100 has anew recoil spring and a soft but pad as the old one was stretched and the pad was like a hockey puck.
Reminded me of the ole Browning A-bolt hockey puck for recoil pad.

Get a 28 gauge, you can swat one on the ground and when the rest fly away you can swat one out of the sky.
Can't do that with a 22.
