I hope BADGER gets new staff soon! and they work out. I have ordered 5 items made 2 phone calls and numerous emails asking for assistance. The stress that is there is passed on over the phone. But telling a 1st time customer that you haven't taken his money yet and if he's not happy go elseware isn't the way to get more business. Not in the electronic age. The prices are great and that is why I'm waiting if I get the product ! Their web says instock! I've waited over 3 weeks and nothing. You can blame it on paperwork, customs, gun laws, but in the end we know who has to answer for it . I hope I get to write a retraction SOON and pull a new trigger!

We ran short of this product you are after because of the great deal we offered. Things sell fast at great prices.

When we are waiting for new product and people call time and time again just after email after email when we will certainly get back to them when this item arrives.. this just adds to our work load. We have little idea of arrival time, this is why we did not take your $ yet!

If you have pd for it I could understand the many calls and emails!

You just added a few items a few days ago and now on my forum saying this.
 
When you brag to your friends about your new acquisitions from a new found source that has great prices, and they keep asking the same thing I'm thinking ( where is it)and you see on their web page that the item is still in stock what am I supposed to think ? I didn't order the things because I didn't want them.
 
This is no place to buy anything you need ! There is NO customer sevice. At the same time as the reply was posted here there was one on my mail saying they no longer wanted my business ! I have no right to complain, and then listed their assets and how successful they are. If this is the sevice they give they have done me a favour. Good luck to them and their new employees lol
 
I understand your frustration, believe me I do! I have only done business with them once and I have to say it was problem free. I had my product at my house in 8 days from the time I ordered, and it was a weekend. I would reccomend them to anyone, but at the same time if I was talked to the way you said you were I wouldn't be as polite thats forsure. They even say on thier website that they are experiencing a lot of calls and walk ins and you might have gotten somebody who was having a bad day.

Hey, I am not in the trade, but after reading thus I wouldn't want to dare do business with you either nor would any other business I suspect when you have an attitude like yours. I cannot believe people like you who want the world handed to them on a silver platter and when you don't get it want to trash a business for not following through with your extortion attempt (which was what the first post was to avoid bad press).

You have the right to do business elsewhere, just as they have the right not to do business with whiney people.
 
When I worked at a busy jeep shop in the gta we told a lot of customers to hit the road. Sometimes you can't explain to a person the we don't make the parts and we are waiting for there arrival just like you. When someone calls and emails several times a day it makes it difficult to serve other customers. Give them a break.
 
maybe you need to stick to shopping in person at your local stores. I have waited months for firearms to come in without making any complaints. And guess what after the store had received what I had ordered it was transferred within 24 hours and they shipped same day and that happened to be christmas eve. Good things and great deals are well worth waiting for.
 
Just wait a minute, you can't bash a guy for complaining about poor customer service. I know that the customer is NOT always right but a person's opinion should be accepted as that, an opinion. I had a poor purchasing experience recently with Badger as well, I choose just to take my business elsewhere rather than tell everyone in their forum. Maybe it was a dis-service not to let them know that they lost my business. When I was in retail I would have preferred to know if I had done something to piss off a customer because they tell two friends and they tell two friends...I purchased my first AR last month, ordered the Norinco with the quad rail and grip that came with the free hard case. I also ordered the Chiappa conversion upper and 500 rounds of ammo. Needless to say I was super excited about the arrival of my new gun. When it arrived it was the plain model without the quad rail and grip and there was no hard case. Excited still but a little disappointed I called to see how we were going to fix this. The person I talked to on the phone said that they didn't have time to switch over the hand guards and tried to ship it out quicker and that the other parts would be shipped separately. He explained to me that the priority was to get the guns shipped as gun buyers are the whiniest, most impatient people to deal with. Obviously I was a little thrown off because somehow this was now my fault, but whatever, I had my gun and the parts were coming. The hard case he explained was out of stock and that they would issue a twenty dollar credit to my card. Twenty bucks? WTF. Now because it is restricted I have to buy a case before I can even take it to the range. In my small town there is not a single hard case. Not too impressed. The whole problem of me feeling like my business was unimportant could have been fixed with an email or phone call, but it wasn't. I know how it can be when you are busy but a minute to send an email shouldn't be too much to ask. Was it a good price? Sure, but personally I will pay more to get good, professional customer service.
 
well critter you didn't have to tell you were not in business, or you would have known the rules of looking after a customer
...rules of looking after a customer you want to keep....some customers are a PITA and their money isn't worth my time/frustration. Yes, I'm in business for myself and I pick and choose who gets my time. Your behaviour wouldn't last long with me. You might get two sentences in before you are shown the door.

You're obviously young (bragging to your friends comment) and eventually you'll understand what's going on here. Badger is swamped and doing the best they can while being very understaffed. I ordered an SVT-40 from them a few weeks ago and Barb called me at home at midnight her time for cc info. They are working their @sses off which is more than I can say for much of the current spoiled brat generation. When you're working hard and come across a jerk customer, is it worth it? No way.

X2, three weeks waiting for an out of stock item! I take it you haven't ordered any guns online before? Try waiting 8 to 12 or better, work to be done from a reputable smith try 6 months. Only you and badger know the whole story and what foul words and attitude was passed over the phone and emails. Most of the dealers are shooters like us that's why they got into the game, to do something they love, they've been there in your shoes and I'm sure trying to resolve issues UNTILL you become a complete ass, not saying you were, that's just the impression I get, you get more out of people when you treat them how you want to be treated, wether there a customer or service, they'll be happy to help you, instead you've got them so they don't even want your business any more. Patience is a virtue and something you should get used to if you want great deals on firearms.
 
You post a bash thread on a site sponsors section for everyone to read, obviously with the intent of hurting their business. Because your upset about products that you haven't even PAID FOR!!!! HAHA why would they want your business ???

Sorry guys but I don't want the YOUNG of age to suffer my rant. I am retired and have been for a few years. I made my living in the retail business and one that I enjoyed. I do know about (customer service ) and in all fairness yes this is my 1 st on line buy. I did my homework shopping and because of CGN looked at Badger. Sent an email on a weekend and to my suprise it was answered that day, in fact Barb answered 3 of them. That was impressive to me and made me feel welcome, that along with the price I decided I would deal there. When I called Mon I was told that they had sold out on the weekend but 35 more were comming on Thursday so I asked that My name be put on one. They had told me that when it came in I would be contacted for payment. One week after supposed arrival date I called to check the status of my order. When I got off the speaker phone my wife asked why I would deal with a place that treated me that way and used that type of language in business. I comented that it was Mon AM and they were probably trying to put out multiple fires. Give them a break.
Anyone in business should know that a probem is normally a misunderstanding or not understanding Most people are good people that only want to be treated fairly, and unless or until you listen to them (their side)you will never win by telling them THE WAY IT IS.
I've said my piece and like most lessons ( they cost you to learn)
