Grumpy Wolverine covers up a UTAS UTS-15 fail!

Watch this video and see at 5:34 where Grumpy tries to hide the fact that the rear access hatch popped open during the firing/reloading action. He looks at the shotgun then conveniently covers the open hatch with his left hand but you can clearly see the pie shaped black gap created by the open hatch. I have a Gen4 UTS and for the most part I am happy with it, but there are still a number of issues that need to be worked out. I have had this particular issue with mine on a few occasions as well as two FTF and FTE issues after 200 rounds through it. I bought this Gen 4 and other riffles from Wolverine partly on reviews and opinion of Grumpy, but after seeing this video I have lost a lot of respect for the lack of transparency and truth in these reviews. It's very disappointing... I know He really likes this shotgun but why hide the fact it still has issues.... I guess sales are more important than truth.

His choice of words following the failure in the video are... "You see what I mean... She functions, she works well, It's all good!" Yeah right!

Wow, yup, cover popped open and jammed up the works.

I wonder why would they post a video of how awesome the gun is and then leave the scene with a total stoppage in the video when editing it for publication?

Just seems odd.

...For now.

Good eye OP, but like madcow, I'm surprised they didn't just shoot a new video.[/QUOTE]

Maybe they did reshoot and that was the best performance they got.

Great for 3 gun w/15 rounds, but if it jams after 7 kinda useless.

Probably because was shot from the hip though.

Well that is definetly disappointing, I have allot of respect for Grumpy. If it does not work then be honest. These type of things can tarnish the whole point of the video. I have bought lots from wolverine supplies and they have always been awesome. Just goes to show,do your own homework rather than go solely off one persons opinion. Nothing sucks more than dumping money into somthing that is problematic and then it's your problem. Honesty goes a long way for sales too! One cover up leads to other questions, has anything else been left out? Did it break? Was there a costly repair? Too bad, this one was on my list! Now? 😬

What gets me is that he said it works flawlessly right after it happens. Should have definately re shot the video

IMHO what should have happened was an acknowledgment of the malfunction & a reshoot of the segment afterwards.

Cheers
