Thanks Ryan for that quick response. FingerX there is an easy, efficient way to load these mammoths. Nice not to spend many minutes for a few seconds of maniac fun.

Looking fwd to trying them out on my SR22 with VQ trigger, that soft trigger will make 110 rnds go real fast.

Awesome!

.. lol i cant believe you guys are complaining about hand loading a mag. big effin deal.

Typical CGN:

Dealer: "Here's a cool new product guys"

CGN:

"how much? it's like 60% less in the USA"
"well if it will be under x$ I would buy it"
"price gouging"

and now.. "you gotta load it by hand? piss on that"

epic fail ...

btw. I'll take one of those for my sr22 :D

If it doesn't load itself, and tighten up my groups, I'm not buying one. Oh, and I want it to improve my ### life. Any word on this?

I've changed my mind, I just recieved a pm telling me if I don't buy one, my d!ck will fall off. I'll take two.

Can't believe folks who want to load by hand. This ain't the third world country, in the developed world we learn to use machine to simplify life. If you don't mind doing it slowly by hand why not get a single shot rifle??? Now that's epic fail.

Kinda sad those that mention their ### life and private parts falling off in a public forum; actually kinda sick, TMI.

Actually, I hate my "speed loader" from Butler Creek, I'm quicker by hand. I don't own any single shot rifles, perhaps you're right, I may be missing out. I'll trade you my speed loader for a clean cooey. I have mentioned my ### life here, it's true. I spent the first 18 years not having ###, perhaps I'm trying to overstate it now. I'll give it some thought. If you give me an email address, I'll send you some pictures of my private parts intact. That part was just me being silly, and out of character. My appologies if I offended you, they'll let anyone use this internet thing.

Ps I like your cat.

Haha, I like this guy. That is a funny response.

My SR22 likes the lead bullets with the yucky waxy coat that gets all over your fingers. With the BC loader just drop from bulk box, shake, till at correct angle, start cranking, way faster than by hand when done right. Done wrong like I see most do at the range ends up with turning the crank several times to get one down.

Secret is the angle of the loader. Learn the physics.

Please fwd pics of private parts to my email addy at: cfp-pcaf@rcmp-grc.gc.ca

I'll give the loader another try. The secret is the angle- (that's what she said.)

mine works great, give it to my buddy to use and he is swearing, crankin away, thought he was gonna break it he had it so jammed it up! i dont have to worry about it anymore cause he "can do it faster by hand"...not faster than me with the bc speed loader tho ...lol!

killer1963daddy> You gonna admit it's pretty funny watching folks crank away mad cursing profusely blaming their own loader for their own incompetents (not so funny when it's your loader at the breaking point).

Just pretend the speed loader is your favorite topic. Make sure angle is correct, get the feel for it, smooth rhythm, get one in everytime, never miss.
Awesome.

Its all about technique with the loaders... and sometimes lubricant.
Since its plastic, and tight tolerances, any dirt can make the cartridge not flow smoothly. The angle can greatly affect flow too. Then there is the amount of cartridges in the top hopper.
Im still debating to get the shooters ridge sig-zag style one or the butler creek straight one.

I have the BC loader and there definitely is an art to making it work. In addition to angle you need to crank, then go reverse-crank a little, then crank, then reverse-crank, repeat. Works every time :D

I used to have to reverse crank till I figure out when there is at least 10 rnds on top of the feeding round the weight keeps it from popping up.

Here's what I do:
Dump from ammo box to fill the trough, shake to drop rnd into slot, gently shake back & forth so rnds are side by side and no lips overlapping, tilt to correct angle, crank the first dozen (5-6 seconds), dump more if required, shake, repeat. Fill the 25 rnds leisurely in ~25s. No way I can do it faster by hand and esp. in winter with frozen fingers or gloves.
