Guys redddogg69 is talking about the drum mag for the 1911 pistol.Pistols can only have ten rnds:)

Mag capacity is a grey area.
Just look at the Smith and Wesson 15-22. They're now pinned to 10 because the mags can be used in the pistol version. So just because it's rimfire doesn't mean unlimited capacity.
Unfortunately the law doesn't make any sense because if they're pinning the S&W then they should probably be pinning the Ruger 10/22 mags.... (Ruger Charger pistol)

Thankfully they're not :D. I'm excited to see the reviews on this drum ma :D

Yes I was talking about the 1911 drum mags as pistol mags are limited to 10 rounds for rimfire. As far as being special not so much, as I am not capable of talking out my a$$ like some. ;)

The maker said they for rifle and pistol... meaning sw did it because they started making a pistol and called the mag that were a lar 15 mag is a pistol mag since its made for the pistol only..

I most definately will take one.
IF there is no pre -order and it is first come first serve, I dont want to miss out.

will they work in the marauder kit?

I highly doubt it, hical mentioned the mag wells are deep and other drums wouldnt fit, But that would be awesome " if " they did.

I bought a 10/22 for this kit, and to have a 100+rd drum mag.. would be sweet :50cal:

PS - Thanks Blue Line for getting this for us!!

No it's not grey, it's black & white from the perspective of RCMP enforces the mags to 10 for pistol, 5 for centerfire, none for rimfire rifles. Any overlap is banned. Being explained too many times already, no point repeating it, GIYF, look up LAR15 and Ruger 10/22 high capacity mags.
