Hey Guys,
I got a GSG 15 because i wanted a tacticool 22, i love the looks of it.
but so far i have only tried 1 type of ammo, Remington Thunderbolts
i know its not the best ammo, but here are few of the problems i have noticed
- loaded mag with 20 rounds it will always jam up for last 5 or so rounds.
- the gun does not seem to have a bolt hold open feature, unless mine does not work..
- taking apart the gun for cleaning is a pain in the ass.

what other ammo have you guys tried? and does anyone else experience the gun jamming? what helped fix this? diff ammo, cleaning?

Thanks

I own one and it usually runs fine. Once in a while it will fail to extract, but that is usually because I let it get filthy. And it is a huge pain to clean. There is a special place in hell for who ever came up with the take down screws for that thing. I think Wolverine Supplies sells a set of HK take down pins that work.

As a rule, I don't shoot Remington .22 ammo. That stuff is junk and it tends to be a dirty round. Switch your ammo. I have had good luck with Blazer.

I have one of them. Haven't had a problem yet. I am shooting the super cheap federal value pack ammo. My only issue has been abut 1 in 100 have a strike mark but don't fire. But that could happen with any gun. This gun has hundreds of five star reviews. Some of the reason why i chose it. All of the other guns GSG makes also have nears perfect revies rating. Sounds like you might have gotten the ultra rare lemon.

Contact blue line, they will most likely be able to help you. Sometimes with the gsg stuff, it takes a few hundred rounds for everything to start working properly. Use good ammo, skip the cheap stuff.
