Picked up 2 rifles from Northern Elite Firearms, a GSG-15 .22lr and a Russian SKS in Tapco furnishing.

Ill cut right to the chase on the GSG-15. Upon opening and handling this rifle, I was quite impressed. Weight seemed decently balanced, not made of a ton of plastic, all in all it seemed like a quality rifle. I cycled a mag in/out a few times and it locked in/unlocked and dropped out very smoothly.

The rifle has 3 points on either side to install your charge handle. I found this excellent for 2 reasons. 1) you can adjust it to fit multiple sized people 2) for those that are used to right hand charge, while having someone with them wanting left hand charge, its easy to swap ect. I myself prefer left hand charge, allowing me to keep the rifle shouldered and my action hand still ready, loading mag/charging with my left making reload/reacquire much faster.

The wife and i took both guns to the range to break them in last weekend. I have to say, for the price, we-and a few of the other shooters that i let try it out- were quite impressed with this gun. Minus a jam, which wasnt a the rifle, it ran well. We cycled probably 10 22 round mags through it and other than the one jam, i had no issues with it. We even let a young shooter and his dad ( boy was probably 9 or 10) let loose a few mags after a run through of a "black style rifle". The excitement of the boys -and his fathers-face probably made the trip.

All in all, im very happy with the GSG-15, ita a nice "fun-gun", works extremely well for the cost, and as accurate as a .22 can be, it ran well in that field. I would definitely buy it again.

Ill continue this thread when i get home wfrom my 28 day work run and add any updates. I plan to tear it down to see what a full throrough inspection/clean is like, so ill add more then. Ill try to get around to adding some pics when i get a chance.

The only problem is getting the take down pins. The site that people used to get them from doesn't ship to Canada anymore. There was some talk a few months ago about Wolverine bringing them in again, but I haven't heard anything from that.

I ordered the pins from Wolverine last week. No delivery date. I wonder if they are waiting for more orders before bringing the pins in?

I recently christened my GSG 15 with 300 rounds of CCI Mini Mags and it performed flawlessly! Not a single issue! Very impressed!

Fed mine browning 1240fps. It jams.
Fed mine American eagle 40gr 1225. Jams
Didn't even try the Remington bucket o crap stuff
But I got it mini mags and some other cci. Next time I'm gone shooting I'll tell you how it goes.
FYI for people that don't have an acog on there gsg 15 is prob the best thing on it known to man. Makes it so fun to shoot over the irons

Hi
Sorry have to ask, I`m new to the terms "FYI for people that don't have an acog on there gsg 15 is prob the best thing on it known to man. Makes it so fun to shoot over the irons ".

What is an ACOG ???
Thanks
George

Ive had a chance to put this threw its paces.

What a nice firearm.

Im running CCI Tactical. Put threw 2400 rounds on the long weekend. No issues what so ever. I also have 5 mags for it. Highly recommend getting the Mcfaden speed loader for them. About 15 seconds and the mag is loaded
