just received my new gsg 16 with 9'' barrel, verry nice gun, reliable as the first version, no complaint there. Only one bad point to this new version, they removed the sliding adjustable stock, so the rear stock bracket that is screwed by only one bolt in the bottom is a problem. It get loose verry quickly, so it rotate a bit from the pivot point of the bottom bolt. The first version didn't had this problem because of the two slides both side that add strenght to the bracket. Now with those slides gone, nothing is retaining the bracket in the upper zone. I did this modification and now it is rock solid: I put a small block of UHMW bolted sideways with one bolt, then drilled a lower hole at 90 degree, just under the firs hole, then make thread into this hole, drilled a hole into the bracket close to the metal tube that received the castle bolt, then put a bolt in it. Nothing move this way, and you can field strip the gun, remove the bolt with no problem, no interference.
