Hello

I was wondering if someone here can clear up some of my confusion. I see that the GSG 16 will soon be available in Canada and dealers are taking deposits on it.

Well I have been reading the posts on CGN about the GSG16 and I really don`t know who the Actual Canadian distributor is. I see at least 4 postings by different people showing the GSG16 and also mentioning that they are taking deposits with a link in their posts.

What I want to know is:

1) IS there a one Canadian Source?
2) IF there was a problem, will that source correct that problem OR will you be told to go through "hoops" and then contact the U.S importer?
3) What ALL comes with the GSG16 sold in Canada?
4) What is the Full price of the GSG16 before the $100.00 deposit. Never mind the S&H, Taxes?

If anyone wants to add a question about the GSG16 specially, NOT about aftermarket stocks, please do.

Thanks

Ya, good question. Companies putting on a pre-order without a confirmed final price can pound sand. And the worst part is people are falling for it :jerkit::jerkit::jerkit:

Tenda has it listed for $459 with two mags
IRG $430 with one mag.

Blue line is the Canadian distributor.

1- Blue Line is the ' Official ' Canadian importer/distributor for all GSG products. IRG probably gets theirs from ATI in the States and then imports them into Canada.
2- If you buy off of a dealer who's supplied by Blue Line then they cover any warranty work if required in Canada. If you buy of IRG they do warranty with ATI in the States. Blue Line has nothing to do with ATI and vice versa.
3- No one is 100% sure atm but it looks like it's 2 x 30 round mags.
4- No one is 100% sure atm but it looks like it will be @ $450'ish give or take $20.

Educated guess, BL has had these for years, just not for sale to the general public because there was no FRT. They were available to LE and movie's as props and training aids. Technically this is not a new gun for them, they've got experience with them. Overall they seem to be well reviewed and the bugs have been worked out so they should be a fun new addition to the market.

Thank You, Merci GlassCannon

Now things are a little more clearer.

So does anyone know when these GSG16 will actually be in Canada for Blue line?
Also does anyone know who are the authorzsed dealers of Blueline, province by province would be Great to know.

Thanks Again

Why authorized dealer?

According to IRG their rifles will be here in September, but only come with one mag. So there’s your choice- $20 less with one less mag and 2 months sooner with IRG? Or $20 more but an extra mag and an extra couple months wait.

Closer to $30 less, but the extra mag eats that.
Depending on your province , you may save a bit of taxes ,as IRG only charges 5% GST.

But IRG shipping will eat that as well.. lol

With all things considered, I think Tenda has the better deal but a longer wait

Ya their shipping is not cheap. I priced one out and it came to roughly $20 less than if I ordered one from Blue Line dealer.

I had issues with a GSG product before and was on the fence. I want one soooooo bad so I went with a local distributor so I can have warranty work if it's a jam o matic. Reviews on line says it's pretty good. So it tipped me over to a pre-order.

IRG is selling the American made GSG16 (american Tactical).

BlueLine and everybody is bringing in the newly manufactured German ones. So even though its the same gun, theyre made different places (no different then Hk Germany VS HK USA). Both seem to be on par quality wise from what I've read. Just a different stamp on the back of the receiver for the AT ones.

That's why IRG ones you can get right away, and the German ones you have to wait to be manufactured.

Makes sense. That was the deciding factor for me... I've been burned waiting on 2 pre-order that went farrrrr beyond the expected delivery date- including GSG and Blue Line. I've got nothing against them, but if ATI has them made and IRG is ready to import..... sold.

From what I understand ATI is just an importer, not a manufacturer. It's the same GSG Germany gun, just with ATI import markings. The Blue Line guns will most likely come direct from Germany so that's why it will probably take a month or so longer than IRG shipping a gun that's already in stock in the US.

Same here. I'm Leary about preorders since ordering a Scorpion last year and then cancelling the order (and getting back my deposit!) When the dealer went months past the expected delivery date AND C-71. The only reason I pre-ordered was to beat C-71, even though it isn't totally in place. No more pre-orders for me.

I did ordered with IRG for a total of 506$ can money including 2 mags for a total of 3,and not to mention the 2 extra mags will be in metal.
